All groups will be available pending sufficient interest. If a group is not currently available due to insufficient interest, clients will be alerted to individual options. At this time, all groups will be provided via telehealth; however, we will be offering in-person options in the future. Clicking on the group title will provide additional information.
Social skills groups offered that target specific client needs. Children are placed in groups of peers of similar age, developmental level, and geographic location when feasible where they can work on a variety of skills including conversation, self-advocacy skills, sportsmanship, and play/leisure skills. Participants have the opportunity to develop friendships and a community to play, laugh, and learn.
Parents and their young children (ages 2-5) join in on an hour-long, weekly play group where a facilitator leads parents in a structured play activity aimed at developing social-communication skills, joint attention, imitation, and relationships. Groups focus on helping parents of children with and at-risk for developmental delays to learn skills to help promote development and relationship building in everyday life.
